District Childline run by Prayatn in Dholpur District observed a week-long campaign- “CHILDLINE Se Dosti” from 14th-20th November 2021. In an attempt to create awareness among the community members regarding the rights of children and 1098, the team organized an array of activities in villages, schools, parks, hostels, bus stands, shelter homes, police stations and on various other venues with the active participation of diverse stakeholders like children, community members, police department, other government officials, vendors, Anganwadi workers, etc. Starting with a grand “Childline Se Dosti rally”, the team celebrated the week by involving children in lots of other activities like awareness discussion about the rights of children and legal laws related to it, handwashing activity, competitions like rangoli, dance, etc., quiz competition and fun games like kite flying, musical chair, lemon & spoon, balloon breaking, etc. Children were also encouraged through prize distribution and snacks distribution. At the end of the week, the team made sure that each and every person who was involved in and witnessed the campaign activities has become aware of 1098 and CHILDLINE services.
