Prayatn Team at Dholpur is engaged in 3-day residential training of CPC members on Child rights and Child Protection. The objective of the training is to deepen the understanding of CPC members on different aspects of child rights and child protection and make them aware of their own role responsibilities as an institution in this regard. The training is being organized under the Moving Ahead project which is being implemented by the organization with the financial support of Karl Kubel Stiftung Germany, with the aim of ensuring child protection in the region.
A total of 09 residential training programs are being organised at Prayatn Campus spanning from 7th – 25th of September, 2021, which covers 09 clusters comprising of 45 project villages of Dholpur District. Training at cluster level is intended to develop and strengthen the understanding of approximately 27 CPC members comprising of 6-7 active members of each village.
The trainings are being facilitated by senior team members of the organization including Child Rights and Child Protection Expert Mr. Ramkhiladi Poswal, Senior Programme Manager Mr. Ramesh Ranjan, Gender Expert Mrs Rajani Jain, Assistant Project Officers Mr. Fazru Khan and Mr. Khuloos Khan. Subsequent to the training, the members are expected to take the learning to the other members of their Village level Child Protection Committees, discuss and identify issues related with child protection in their village and undertake planning of action to resolve the same.
