On November 8 and 18, 2025, Prayatn Sanstha, under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels initiative supported by the SBI Foundation, organized Special Dental and Oral Health Check-Up Camps in Sonbhadra and Shravasti districts of Uttar Pradesh.

In total, 325 community members received free dental examinations, consultations, treatment services and essential medicines across both locations. The combined efforts aimed to strengthen oral hygiene awareness, encourage preventive care and provide accessible dental health services to rural households.

On November 8, the camp in Kajiyari village of Nagwa block, Sonbhadra district, served 204 beneficiaries, including 92 women and 112 men. The dental and medical services here were provided under the supervision of Dental Specialist, Dr. Ankita Pandey, and Medical Officer, Dr. Yash Sharma, supported by the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) team. Community representatives including Gram Pradhan and village leaders cooperated actively, helping mobilize villagers and ensure wide participation.
On November 18, the second camp was organized at Gram Panchayat Chak Pihani of Hariharpur Rani block, Shravasti district, where 121 community members received free dental check-ups, consultations and treatment. The health services in Shravasti were led by Dentist, Dr. Neha Agrawal, and MMU Doctor, Dr. Rakesh, along with the MMU team. The initiative received strong support from former Gram Pradhan – Shri Dinesh Pratap Mishra, ANM – Ms. Pratibha Bharti, and other respected community members, whose involvement contributed to smooth and effective outreach.

Through these coordinated efforts in two districts, we continue to make healthcare accessible, preventive and community-oriented for underserved rural communities, ensuring that essential services reach people directly at their doorstep.
