Prayatn Sanstha has been conferred with the “Best NGO of the Year – 2026” award in the Livelihood Development category at the prestigious Global CSR & ESG Awards 2026. The award ceremony was held on May 8, 2026, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, in the presence of distinguished leaders and professionals from the corporate, development and social sectors.

The recognition was presented by Aditya Birla Education Trust, Brand Honchos and SAMPARK Foundation to acknowledge organizations making significant contributions towards sustainable development, social responsibility and community empowerment. Prayatn Sanstha received this honour for its continuous efforts in strengthening sustainable livelihood opportunities, empowering women and marginalized communities, promoting grassroots leadership and advancing inclusive and participatory development initiatives across communities.

We have empowered socio-economically vulnerable families through farm & non-farm livelihood development initiatives. Our interventions helped increase the productivity and income of 16,500 tribal small and marginal farmers by 25% to 30% through sustainable farming practices. We have also established Agriculture Resource Centers and Seed Banks across 230 villages, supported 3000+ landless and low land families through non-farm livelihood opportunities and provided training and placement support to 1200+ youth.

Mr. Yogesh Jain, Director – Programmes and Mr. Syed Heyatullah, Communication Officer, received the award on behalf of Prayatn Sanstha. The honour was jointly handed over by Mr. Ved Bhushan, Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police, along with Ms. Shivani Kapoor, Editor-in-Chief of Brand Honchos, who appreciated the impactful grassroots work being carried out by organizations committed to sustainable and inclusive social change.

This recognition reflects the dedication and collective efforts of the entire team, whose commitment continues to create meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable communities. We humbly dedicate this award to the communities we work with, whose resilience, trust and participation remain the true driving force behind our journey.
