On 27th November 2025, Prayatn Sanstha, under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels initiative supported by the SBI Foundation, organized a Swachhata Rally and Cleanliness Awareness Programme in Suarasot village of Nagwa block, Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh, as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
A cleanliness rally was organized and flagged off from the Composite School by Gram Pradhan Shri Lalta Singh Yadav. The rally covered Suarasot Khurd and Suarasot Kalan, where participants carried banners and placards with cleanliness messages to spread awareness among villagers. A collective oath for cleanliness was also taken during the rally. More than 300 school children and community members participated in the initiative demonstrating strong community involvement.
Along with the rally, several activities were conducted, including drawing competitions, speech competitions and cultural performances. Students from Composite School, Government Girls Secondary School and Sanjeevani Bal Vidyalaya participated actively in these events.
As an encouragement, one boy and one girl from each class, selected from all three schools for their participation in drawing and cultural activities, received winter caps, lunch boxes and pens.
Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan effort, dustbins, handwash units and sanitary pads were provided to all three schools, Anganwadi centres and the Panchayat Bhawan for regular use. Additionally, all children received nail cutters and handkerchiefs to promote personal hygiene.
The event was successfully supported by the MMU Team, along with school principals Shri Vimlesh, Smt. Rajeshwari Devi, Shri Santosh Tiwari, Panchayat Mitra Shri Baleshwar Prajapati and Anganwadi Worker Smt. Kamla Wati, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of all activities.
Through this initiative, continued efforts are being made to promote cleanliness, hygiene and community participation, strengthening the Swachh Bharat mission at the grassroots level.
