On October 16, 2025, Prayatn Sanstha, under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels initiative supported by the SBI Foundation, organized a Health Check-Up and Awareness Camp focusing on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) at Padri village, Nagwa block, Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh.
A total of 200 beneficiaries including 84 women and 116 men received free health check-ups, medical consultations, laboratory testing and essential medicines. Out of these, 57 patients underwent detailed laboratory tests for further diagnosis and follow-up.
The health services were provided under the supervision of Medical Officer Dr. Yash Sharma and Dr. Rajeev Ranjan Tiwari with assistance from the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) team.
The camp also received active cooperation and encouragement from local representatives including Gram Pradhan Mr. Babulal Vishwakarma, Primary School Principal Mr. Atal Vishwakarma, Ward Panch Mr. Rajendra Yadav and SMC President Mr. Chhavindra Yadav. Their participation helped mobilize community members and ensure maximum outreach.
Through such initiatives we are making healthcare accessible, preventive and community-oriented, addressing rising concerns related to lifestyle and chronic diseases in rural and underserved areas.
