On October 16, 2025, Prayatn Sanstha under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels initiative supported by the SBI Foundation, organized a Special Eye Check-up at Shankarpur village, Sirsiya block, Shravasti district, Uttar Pradesh.
A total of 210 community members availed free eye screening services conducted by a medical team including Dr. Abhinash, Eye Specialist from Devi Patan Netra Chikitsalaya, Balrampur, along with a team of paramedics. Among them, 27 individuals were provided free spectacles, while 15 cataract patients were identified and referred for free surgeries to restore their vision.
The camp not only provided medical support but also created awareness on the importance of regular eye check-ups, healthy lifestyle practices and preventive care to avoid vision loss due to common ailments like cataract, refractive errors and diabetes.
Through the SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels, Prayatn Sanstha has been reaching remote and underserved villages, ensuring that even the most marginalized communities have access to quality primary healthcare, diagnostic services and health education.
This ongoing effort reflects our commitment to promoting healthy, self-reliant rural communities and supporting the national goal of ‘Health for All.
