On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day 2025, Prayatn Sanstha, with the support of SBI Foundation, organized a health awareness event on 29th July 2025 in Chakpihani village, Block Hariharpur Rani, District Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. The event was conducted under the “SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels” initiative, which is committed to making healthcare services accessible to rural communities by delivering them directly at their doorstep in 20 villages of Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh.
The event saw encouraging participation from 102 community members, including men, women, and children. The community showed strong interest and actively engaged in the activities, demonstrating their growing awareness and concern for health and well-being.
The focus of the day was on spreading awareness about Hepatitis, its types, symptoms, modes of transmission, preventive measures, and available treatments. The Prayatn team, led by Program Coordinator Mr. Santosh Kashyap and Medical Officer, Dr. Abhishek Ranjan, conducted interactive sessions with the villagers. In addition to awareness-building, the team offered free health check-ups, medical consultations, and distributed essential medicines to those in need.
The presence and encouragement of local leaders, including the people’s representative like Gram Pradhan – Mr. Raj kishore Bhadur, former Gram Pradhan – Mr. Parmesh Mishra, and Panchayat Sahayak – Mr. Mukesh Kumar Mishra added further strength to the initiative. Community members expressed appreciation for continued work in promoting health, hygiene, and preventive care in remote areas.
Concluding the event, Program Coordinator Mr. Santosh Kashyap expressed gratitude to all the community leaders, VDC members, and participants for their active involvement. He reiterated the organization’s commitment to continue such efforts in bringing quality healthcare to underserved communities.
