Prayatn Sanstha is organizing media interaction workshops in all four project based districts of Project Moving Ahead with the support of Karl Kübel Stiftung, Germany. On 19th April 2022, A workshop was organized for the media persons at Food Circle Restaurant and Hotel in Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan, aimed at sensitization and capacity building of journalists from the district to actively involve the media- both print & Electronic in disseminating comprehensive information and greater orientation on issues pertaining to child right & protection in the district, also propagate various centrally sponsored schemes related to the rights of Children.
Mr Santosh Kumar Gautam, APO- Convergence from Prayatn Sanstha acted as the resource person for the workshop; in his address, said that the media acts as a direct link between community and government, therefore it is crucial to notify issues related to the protection of children and their rights and also spoke about the role of the media in creating awareness about developmental initiatives of the Government.
The lectures were followed by interactive sessions in which participants put forward their comments and observations. About 22 eminent media representatives from both Print & Electronic media took part in the workshop.
