From 14th July to 23rd July, 2021, the team members of Prayatn Sanstha conducted one-day workshop for the School Management Committee in 07 government schools of Khandela block. The workshop was meant to orient the committee members about their role & responsibilities under the Right to Free and Compulsory Elementary Education Act, 2010, and resolving issues related education in their village. In the training, which was facilitated by Mr. Kailash Saini, Education Expert, Prayatn Sanstha; Mr. Sonu Gaur, Project Officer, Prayatn Sanstha; local Panchayat Education Officer and School Head Master and discussion about new Education Policy of the Government of India was also shared and discussed. Situation arising because of COVID, particularly when schools are remaining closed, was also discussed during the training. Around 318 SMC members had been orientated. More efforts are being made to cover 07 more schools in the project area. The activity was conducted with financial support of CRY and Bajaj Finserv under Bajaj Education and Child Protection Project.
