On 11th October 2025, Prayatn Sanstha organized special events under Project Kawach to celebrate The International Day of the Girl Child in Bharatpur and Dholpur districts of Rajasthan focusing on girls\u2019 education, equality and empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Bharatpur, programs were organized in multiple schools including Rajkiya Balika Senior Secondary School and Mahatma Gandhi Government Vidyalaya in Sahsan village under Kaman block. The celebrations included pledge-taking to end child marriage, poem recitals, and interactive workshops highlighting the health and educational impacts of early marriage. Resource persons also shared details about Udaan Yojana and other government schemes for adolescent girls, alongside sanitary pad distribution. A Bridge Course Center for dropout children (aged 6\u201314 years) was launched under the Kawach project to ensure every child\u2019s right to education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative in Bharatpur covered 9 blocks, 10 Gram Panchayats and 2 Nagar Palikas, mobilizing 2,116 participants. The event saw active participation from stakeholders such as the Gender Specialist (Department of Women Empowerment), District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Bharatpur, ICDS, Health Department, school principals, lecturers, CDPO, AWWs, ANMs, Ward Councillors and Zila Parishad Members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Dholpur, the awareness program was held at Government Senior Secondary School, Shergarh Pura in Bari block, focusing on girls\u2019 safety, rights and education. Activities included essay and drawing competitions, speeches by adolescent girls on \u201cGirls are not lesser than anyone\u201d and a community rally spreading the message \u201cEducate and Empower Every Girl.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dholpur celebration covered 4 blocks, 6 Gram Panchayats and 21 wards, engaging 907 participants. Key contributors included school principals, teachers, panchayat representatives and sarpanch\u2019s who emphasized collective action toward building a safer more equitable future for girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across both districts of Rajasthan more than 3,000 participants came together under Project Kawach to advocate for ending child marriage and empowering girls through education and awareness. The events reflected a strong partnership between government departments, educators and communities, strengthening the resolve to ensure every girl can learn, grow and follow her dreams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
