July 26, 2024, turned out to be a historic day for Prayatn as the Holistic Rural Development Programme (HRDP), which is being implemented by the organization in Puri and Rayagada districts with the financial support of HDFC Bank under its CSR initiative \u2018Parivartan\u2019, bagged \u2018ASSOCHAM CSR & Sustainability Excellence Award\u2019 presented by ASSOCHAM Odisha State Development Council in two categories \u2013 Community Impact and Excellence in Tribal Empowerment. At a grand ceremony that was held at Hotel Swosti Premium in Bhubaneshwar, Prayatn was awarded as implementing partner for Puri initiative while HDFC Bank was awarded as CSR donor in the two categories respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prestigious awards were presented by Chief Guests Mr. Sampad Chandra Swain, Honourable Minister of State Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education, Government of Odisha and Shri A. T. Mishra, IFS, Deputy Director General of Forests, Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Government of India, in the presence of dignitaries including Mr. Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Odisha State Development Council; Mr. Prashanta Hota, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Odisha State CSR & Sustainability Council; Mr. Prabodh Mohanty, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Odisha State Mining and Steel Council; and Ms. Perminder Jeet Kaur, Senior Director, ASSOCHAM East & Northeast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards were received by Mr. Malay Kumar, Secretary, Prayatn Sanstha, Mr. Animesh Biswal, Vice- President Business, HDFC Bank and Mr. Swaroop Sharma, State Manager- CSR, Odisha, HDFC bank who were accompanied by our project staff – Project Manager \u2013 Mr. Purna Mohapatra, Thematic Expert – Mr. Pravesh Maurya and Process Facilitator – Ms. Rojalin Sahoo. Before the award ceremony the Chief Guest and other dignitaries visited the stalls to understand the working model. Mr. Animesh Biswal explained the dignitaries about the reach of HDFC Bank CSR Programs in the state along with future plans for expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
