On 15th September 2026, Prayatn Sanstha, under the Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP) supported by Reliance Foundation, organized a Block-Level Stakeholder Workshop at Kishanganj in Baran district, Rajasthan. The workshop aimed to promote stakeholder convergence, knowledge sharing and collaborative action to improve the livelihoods and overall well-being of rural and tribal communities, with a focus on Sahariya and Bhil communities. Key discussions covered climate-resilient agriculture, livestock development, livelihoods, women\u2019s empowerment, Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the workshop, participants shared experiences and technical knowledge on sustainable agriculture, livestock management and livelihood promotion. Dr. Banwari Lal, Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), highlighted the importance of scientific agricultural practices, soil testing, quality seeds and crop management. Dr. Satish, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Department, discussed livestock health, disease prevention, animal care and quality goat breeds. Mr. Sidharth from Rajeevika\/National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) highlighted the role of Self-Help Groups in strengthening women\u2019s economic participation and livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ramkhiladi Poswal, Deputy Director, Prayatn Sanstha, shared an overview of the organization\u2019s work and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among stakeholders. Assistant Project Officer Mr. Hemraj Mehta introduced the project and encouraged participants to share their field experiences. Mr. Bharat from Reliance Foundation also highlighted ongoing project activities and the importance of collaboration for greater community-level impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop witnessed active participation from 34 stakeholders, including representatives from the Panchayat Samiti, Agriculture Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Rajeevika\/NRLM, KVK and development organizations. Mr. Pannalal, Block Development Officer and Mr. Nawal Kishore Meena, Additional Block Development Officer, shared insights on GPDP and local development planning, while Mr. Rajendra Kumar Meena, Assistant Agriculture Officer, contributed to discussions on agricultural development. Representatives from various development organizations also shared their experiences and perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop provided a platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge, discuss community-level challenges and identify opportunities for collaboration. The programme concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen stakeholder convergence and promote integrated efforts in climate-resilient agriculture, livestock, livelihoods, women\u2019s empowerment and local development for sustainable rural and tribal development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
